Olavi Hänninen Paletti Desk for HMN Huonekalu Mikko Nupponen

A rare Paletti desk designed by Finnish designer Olavi Hänninen for HMN Huonekalu Mikko Nupponen in Lahti, Finland, during the 1960s. The desk is made from teak and has a strong, architectural form typical of Hänninen’s work. The tabletop is paired with a four-drawer cabinet and a black leather writing surface, giving the piece a practical and refined feel.

The Paletti desk is a beautiful example of Finnish mid-century design, with clean proportions and a warm material presence.
