Artek Stragula Table by Alvar Aalto (Rare)
Artek Stragula Table by Alvar Aalto (Rare)
A rare variation of the classic Artek table, featuring bent birch legs and an early yellow Stragula top, a material developed as an alternative to linoleum during a period when real linoleum was too expensive to produce.
The result is a textured, retro surface with unique character and history. Ideal as a dining table, desk, or side table, this piece reflects Artek’s resourceful design ethos during the post-war era.
Measurements: Width 100cm; Depth 53cm; Height 75cm. The table provides a practical surface while keeping its materials, proportions and construction clearly expressed.
Structurally solid with visible wear and patina consistent with age. Surface marks and edge wear present, adding to its charm. Please review all images for details.
