Tobia Scarpa Bastiano Two-Seater Sofa

Designed by Tobia Scarpa, the Bastiano sofa is one of the clearest examples of Italian lounge seating from the period. The model is known for its solid wooden frame, generous cushions, and low, architectural silhouette that gives it a strong presence without feeling overly heavy.

This two-seater example has a particularly beautiful dark brown leather upholstery that works very well with the warm wood frame. The overall look is relaxed but structured, making it a good fit for a living room, office, studio, or any interior where a more grounded and recognizable seating piece is wanted.

This piece is in good vintage condition with light patina consistent with age. The leather presents very well overall and has a particularly beautiful deep dark brown tone.
