Hannibal Two-Seater Sofa – Kurt Hvitsjö for Isku, Black Leather

The Hannibal two-seater sofa was designed by Finnish designer Kurt Hvitsjö for Isku during the 1970s. It combines black leather upholstery with an exposed tubular chrome-steel frame, giving the generous seating a clear and distinctive structure.

The model reflects the bold, comfort-led character of Finnish furniture from the period. Oversized rounded forms and deep cushioning create a relaxed sculptural profile, while the chrome detailing keeps the substantial silhouette visually defined.

Generously padded seat, back and arm sections form the soft outer shape, supported by the chromed steel frame. At 174 cm wide, this two-seat version offers comfortable lounge seating while remaining more compact than a full-size sofa.

The sofa is in neat vintage condition with normal patina and age-related wear to the black leather. It has no tears, repairs, stains or structural faults and remains fully usable. Please review all images for details.
