Eames Lounge Chair & Ottoman – Charles & Ray Eames for Vitra, Santos Palisander and Black Leather

The Eames Lounge Chair and matching Ottoman were designed by Charles and Ray Eames and are manufactured here by Vitra. This authentic classic-size set was produced in 2010 and combines Santos palisander veneer with black Premium F leather.

First designed in 1956, the set reinterprets the traditional club chair through moulded plywood construction, generous removable cushions and a relaxed reclining profile. This example retains its Vitra manufacturer labels.

The chair and Ottoman have moulded plywood shells, semi-aniline leather upholstery and black die-cast aluminium bases. The chair rests on a five-star swivel base, while the matching Ottoman has a four-star non-swivel base, maintaining the design’s carefully balanced proportions.

The set is in excellent, near-new condition. The black leather and Santos palisander shells are exceptionally well preserved, with no scratches, breaks or damage reported. Please review all images for details.
