Alvar Aalto A810 Floor Lamp for Valaisinpaja

Designed by Alvar Aalto, the A810 floor lamp is one of the most recognizable Finnish lighting designs of the modernist period. This particular example was manufactured by Valaisinpaja, making it a less commonly seen and more collectible variation compared to the standard Artek production models.

The lamp features Aalto’s characteristic layered white metal shade construction, designed to diffuse light softly while minimizing glare. Combined with the slim black stem and brass detailing, the overall silhouette remains elegant and architectural without feeling heavy.
