Aurora Table Lamp – Olle Andersson for Boréns, White and Chrome

The Aurora table lamp was designed by Swedish designer Olle Andersson for Boréns during the 1970s. This example combines a white finish with chrome details, giving the lamp a precise architectural presence and a broad, softly balanced silhouette.

The design is organised around a layered metal shade system. A large shallow reflector forms the main outline, while a smaller upper disc and central cylindrical elements create a compact composition around the light source and distribute a warm, indirect glow.

The white-painted shade and circular base are joined by a slender chromed stem. Chrome supports surround the lamp housing, and a pull-cord switch provides simple tactile control. The low, wide proportions make the Aurora especially suitable for a side table, console or low cabinet.

The lamp is in very good vintage condition and working order, with no major damage reported. Minor light signs of age and use may be present. Please review all images for details.
