Selling Design Furniture from an Estate
Pino Interiors buys design furniture, lighting and design objects from private homes and estates. We offer a free assessment of pieces you are considering selling. You can offer one item or several pieces from the same home.
You do not need to know the designer, maker or value. Email one clear photograph to info@homelvia.live or use our sell-to-Pino form. Please include the location and any deadline for clearing the property.
Before clearing a home
Photograph furniture where it stands. Room photographs can help us review a group of pieces. Identify which items are available and which the family intends to keep. There is no need to restore or price furniture before getting in touch.
What we consider
We consider distinctive vintage and design furniture, lighting and objects in varied condition, including restoration projects. Examples include armchairs, dining tables and chairs, sofas, sideboards and lamps. Our collection includes work by Alvar Aalto, Yrjö Kukkapuro and Eero Aarnio, but you do not need to identify the maker to offer a piece.
How selling works
- Send a photograph, the location and any clearance deadline.
- We review the pieces and may ask for photographs of labels, construction or damage. The assessment is free.
- If a piece suits our acquisitions, we discuss a purchase price and agree the arrangements separately. Requesting an assessment does not commit you to selling.
- Collection can often be arranged in Finland. Availability, timing and terms are confirmed for the specific items and location.
Helpful photographs and details
One clear photograph is enough to start. If readily available, include an overall view, side or rear view, maker’s label, photographs of wear and repairs, approximate dimensions and quantities. The town, floor and lift access help us consider collection. Any known purchase or restoration history is useful; it is fine if the history is unknown.
Photograph items as they are. Do not remove fixed components just to photograph them. Keep personal documents and private information out of the images.
Can I offer furniture from an entire estate?
Yes. Send overall photographs and the location. We assess which pieces fit our acquisitions and agree the purchase scope individually. Our service concerns buying selected furniture, lighting and objects; general house clearance, disposal of remaining contents and final cleaning are not included.
